Makes sense to me, except he totally ignores the other costs that come along with liability&#8211;lawyers, lost productivity, insurance costs.  However, these costs seem reasonable.  I have a friend who is a general contractor and builds houses.  He was astonished to find that computer consultants don&#8217;t have to carry liability insurance.
