I think that as business folks become more fluent in &#039;software development&#039;, you&#039;ll see some more fluidity.  For example, I have an accountant friend who uses Excel to massage data in ways that would have been done by dedicated programmers 30 years ago.  Is he a programmer?  Yes and no.

Is funny, I jsut got the link to this blog entry and I completly agree.

I agree so much, that I honestly think that the process of advancing the software development technologies is broken. And is broken by a mix of Business-Disconnected-Academia and Profit-Driven-Software-Vendors.

In other words, I think we need software development tools that allow to map the business process so it crystilize to a jello. Easy to change and mold after it is semi-solid.

I guess eventually we will get there.</description>
