I applaud you my friend, I’m pretty much in the same boat.

I wrote an article more towards web and hating Dreamweaver, but I can very much relate.

If you don’t buy into the IDE and you ever do .NET then you will be hating life!! .NET without Visual Studio.

AND Java Server Faces is going to be just as bad. I won’t touch that thing with a Rave IDE.

Not saying you’re wrong I just think there is a trend in our industry that is growing stronger each year.

Next thing you know you’ll be telling stories like, “Back in my day we have simple text editors”
